By seven you already know what’s going to go wrong.
Every morning at 7:00, The Daily Brief — the morning report — gathers what deserves your attention: shortages, expiry dates, customers going quiet and outstanding payments. Without opening ten screens. It is included in every project, not a separate module.
This is Tuesday’s brief. No filters, no charts, no decoration.
Six alerts, each with its figure and its reason. What you see below is the whole document, exactly as it comes out at 06:58. The four notes in the margin explain where each line comes from.
01 · Shortages for today’s routes
02 · Batches expiring this week
03 · Customers off their pattern
04 · Payments more than 15 days overdue
A morning with the brief in front of you.
It doesn’t change what you do. It changes the order you find things out in.
The brief arrives
In the app and in your inbox, at the same time. Six alerts, each with its figure and its button.
You load with the shortages settled
The three missing products already have a substitution accepted or a notice sent to the customer.
The phone doesn’t ring
Nobody calls the warehouse to ask what’s in stock: the sales rep has it in their brief before walking into the bar.
You close with no loose delivery notes
The morning’s delivery notes are already invoiced or queued for the day’s close.
What it brings. And what it deliberately leaves out.
What it brings
Sample dataEvery line brings its figure and its action alongside: ship out, call, replenish, collect. You read it top to bottom and you’re done.
What it deliberately leaves out
Sample dataThe Daily Brief is not a dashboard. It does not show you the margin trend: it shows you the six things you have to decide today before nine.
Four things people ask us before saying yes.
The same four, in the same order, at almost every table. We answer them here so you don’t have to ask.
01What if I don’t read it until eleven? +
The brief does not expire: it stays there and the alerts update themselves through the day. What changes is the cost. At seven you decide the load; by eleven you have already left with the shortages inside the van.
02Do my sales reps get it too? +
Yes, and each one gets their own. The sales rep sees their off-pattern customers and their payments; the warehouse manager, shortages and expiry dates; you, all four blocks. It is set per user during setup.
03Can I drop alerts I don’t care about? +
Alert by alert. If you do not work with chilled goods, you drop expiry dates. If you get paid at 60 days, you raise the overdue threshold. We set it up with you and you change it whenever you want, without calling us.
04Where do the thresholds come from? +
From your own data: each customer’s average order, how fast each product really turns and your payment terms. No factory assumptions. And if you want to change them, you change them.
We build your first brief with your data from last week.
A thirty-minute diagnostic, your stock and order files, and we show you the brief you would have got last Tuesday.
